Kashmir - The Education is Freedom Program
Al-Kareem Foundation has developed an education program that will empower improverished children in Kashmir from first to tenth grade. Your contributions will benefit these children through education by providing them freedom from the cyclical pattern of poverty, ignorance and give hope for a better future.
For $30 per month the program will provide your sponsored child the following advantages:
Tuition and school fees, transportation, textbooks, notebooks, supplies, two uniforms, shoes, tutoring, computer classes.

Al-Kareem Foundation currently organizes and leads two projects in Pakistan. We describe these projects and their accomplishments below. If you would like to contribute to supporting these projects, visit our donation page. Hundred percent of every dollar that is donated goes right back into the Foundation and its programs.
Project Ramadan is a food drive aimed at providing one month痴 worth of wholesome, nourishing food to impoverished families. The families receive such basic needs as tea, oil, sugar, rice beans, matches and soap. In 2008 and 2009, the project provided food and supplies to fifteen medium-size families and fifteen small families, feeding more than 100 people for an entire month.
Our Goalfor Project Ramadan it to continue to increase the number of families we help. If you are interested in donating, the sponsorships are:
- $30 to feed a medium-size family (4-5 people) for one month.
- $15 to feed a small family (2-3 people) for one month.
Medium-size families receive the following supplies. Small families receive half the listed amounts. All donations are tax-deductible.

The Al-Kareem Foundation痴 Project Eid-ul-Fitr provides new clothes to families in need. In the program痴 first year, we were able to provide clothing to thirty men, thirty women and thirty children. The outfits last for approximately one year.
Our Goal for the program is to increase the number of people who receive clothing. Donate now to help us meet that goal. The cost per outfit is $7. All donations are tax-deductible.
